Day 1: Tarangire National Park

  • Arrive and meet your guide. After a short briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park.
  • Enjoy a scenic drive through Maasai country.
  • Begin your first game drive in Tarangire, known for its majestic baobabs and large elephant herds.
  • Arrive at your lodge or camp inside or near the park.
  • Overnight: Dinner and stay at the lodge/camp in Tarangire.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Tarangire

  • After breakfast, set off for a full-day game drive, exploring deeper into Tarangire’s varied landscapes.
  • Spot lions, buffalo, zebras, and a wide array of birdlife along the Tarangire River.
  • Continue wildlife viewing with picnic lunch in the park.
  • Return to your accommodation for relaxation.
  • Overnight: Dinner and overnight at your Tarangire lodge/camp.

Day 3: Lake Manyara Detour & Ngorongoro Highlands

  • Depart Tarangire and head toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, detouring via Lake Manyara National Park.
  • Enjoy a game drive in Manyara, famous for tree-climbing lions, hippos, and flamingos.
  • Exit the park and ascend to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
  • Check in at your lodge along the crater rim or in Karatu.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Serengeti

  • Start the day with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari.
